Max Armstrong is at St Paul Lutheran Church in Columbus, Indiana with Pastor Doug Bauman and Henry Wischmeier, congregant.

Dan Mau, Cantor, Director of Music at St. Paul joins Max next to talk about the holiday preparations for the congregation’s musical celebrations.
Next, Max stops in at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Silver Lake, Mo. Mike and Bob Zahner regale Max with stories about the small community.
Travelling through Missouri, Max stops in at Apple Creek Presbyterian Church in Pocahontas, Mo. Max hears from Todd Rushing who works the Missouri River industry. He’s a member of this church that has no electricity, it was built in 1873, and is heated by stoves.
The next stop, also in Missouri is Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna. Max learns the congregation’s history from Bill Bock and their decoration routine from Denise Morrison.
Finally, we end with Silent Night sung by candlelight.
