Mike Pearson takes a look at the organic food market.
According to the USDA, it has grown every year since 2005.
And more growers looking to diversity or add markets have been experimenting with organic production.
Now, organic producers and growers will be gathering in Monterrey, Calif. Nov. 29 and 30 for sixth annual Organic Grower Summit.
Two full days producers learning about the latest production practices, marketing strategies, growing organic and a look at celebration of success in 2023.
Technology will be a big focus of the summit and one session will focus on AI in production agriculture.
Other education sessions will include: Pest management; regenerative ag; a look at the production challenges and an opportunity to network.
A trade show will also be available for producers to peruse for new products.
