Part 1

Mike Pearson kicks off the show this week with Donnell Rehagen of the Clean Fuels Alliance America to discuss California policy updates. In the markets segment Mike talks with Jim McCormick, AgMarket.net to discuss this week’s release of the December WASDE report.

Part 2

Jim McCormick, AgMarket.net, returns to discuss more market news with Mike. Following that, Greg Soulje is on for this week’s weather forecast.

Part 3

Next, Mike introduces a report from Lanie Beetsma, who talks solar-powered robots with Aigen CEO Kenny Lee, who brought his robot to the recent Organic Grower Summit. Then Max Armstong has another Steiner Stories segment talking about how to keep that older equipment running.

Part 4

Max Armstrong is back with another Plan Smart, Grow Smart segment talking about applying lessons learned from the last year.

Part 5

Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje returns to take a look at the long-range weather picture. In the Farm Progress roundup segment, Bruce Blythe, Senior Editor, Farm Futures is on to also weigh in on the WASDE report.

Part 6

In Max’s Tractor Shed, Max shows off a 1948 Farmall C, owned by the Yonkey Pine Tree Farm in Hickman, Nebraska. Its main purpose these days is being in family Christmas photos. In the FFA Chapter Tribute segment, Mike talks with Emily Whitehead, Tennessee FFA State Vice President. She grew up on an egg operation and is the daughter of an ag educator. She plans to go into agriculture entomology. In the Colby Ag Tech segment, Chad Colby is looking at a new tool for storing electric tools.
