The commodity markets are increasingly looking at America's southern neighbors.
Brazil is reporting a record breaking gain harvest this year with 322.47 metric tonnes-- an 8 percent increase over 2023.
The soybean side reported a 12.7 percent in area and corn reported a 3.5 percent increase in area.
The Brazilian bean acreage is continuing to challenge USA dominance int he market.
In Argentina, as of now, 13.5 percent of the corn has been planted. However, total acreage production is expected to drop 15 percent.
U.S. producers are watching closely as Brazil's soybeans continue to dominate the market.
Argentina's slow progress is giving American farmers a heads up when it comes production.
